Michael Lynch
Michael Lynch studied Art and Design at the York College of Art. He went on to work for several leading design studios in the West End of London, before taking up an appointment as Editorial Artist to a daily newspaper. Later, he became the sole designer for the marketing team at one of the country’s major visitor-attractions, designing everything from a million-plus selling guide-book to a hot-air balloon.
His paintings have been exhibited at the Royal Academy, Leighton House, City of York Art Gallery, Leeds City Art Gallery and the Walker Gallery of Contemporary Art, to name but a few.
Working increasingly in photography Michael was amongst the first British artists to recognize the potential of creating digital images onto canvas.
