“My art focuses on cities, particularly Budapest and London. I am less concerned with topographical detail than with the way the city functions in terms of drama and film noir, with shadow and movement the fore grounded elements. There are car chases, accidents and conspiracies among tall haunting buildings, in broad squares and down narrow side streets. The surface splinters and breaks up. The work consists of drawings in conte, charcoal and pastel, paintings in oils, and monotypes”
